• Senior Saturdays – BBQ’s in the oval, exclusive senior events with food and drink

• Equally appetizing non-alcoholic venues (laser tag, bowling)
• A much more balanced and productive relationship with the administration
• More philanthropic events (habitat for humanity – senior day)
• A blog for everyones input – what you want, well give you!
• Powder puff football

Arielle

Greetings Everyone,

In case you don't know me I am Arielle (pronounced R-E-L) the third proud chick on the slate.

Being a Senior Class President is all about facilitating events to make our senior year one to REMEMBER. Like the other marvelous people of Three Chicks and a Narodick, I have a breadth of experiences at Stanford to bring to the table. Over the years I've seen and worked with many departments and offices at the University through my roles as an Admit Weekend Coordinator, a Programs Assistant at the Black Community Services Center, and as a Team Leader at the Stanford Alumni Association. Through these roles I've gained invaluable event planning experience, I'll also note that in all of these roles I've been asked to return. With our track record, there is no doubt that Three Chicks and a Narodick, like The Office, also has ample experience but WE WILL NOT DISAPPOINT (maybe it's me but I didn't have the best time at the Mausoleum party...).

Our slate is unique in that each of us represents a different facet of the fabulous class of 2008 and the diverse communities that make us such an asset to Stanford. Because we are so connected to the different communities on campus, we are certain we will cover everyone's voice if you guys help us do our job by voicing what you want to see next year RIGHT NOW. Our plan is to start working early, the more we hear from you all, the sooner we can start securing a fabulous speaker, start working with the OSA to improve the campus social scene for next year, etc. We are here to serve you and I encourage you all to post the issues that are most important to you. Whether it's next year's commencement speaker, pub nights, senior formal, or what have you, Three Chicks and a Narodick will do everything in our power to make our senior year unforgettable.

Remember
Three Chicks and a Narodick.

Phil

Hey everyone,

I'm Phil Narodick -- that dude with the funny name. I grew up in Seattle, Washington, and I'm now keeping the slightly granola-esque tradition alive by being the social manager in Synergy. Additionally, I'm in AEPi, and pretty active in the Jewish community. You've probably seen me around because I tend to see and be seen. What else? Well the basics are that I studied in Santiago this past fall, I'm an IR major, and I'll be in Brazil this summer checking out the biofuel industry.

I'm really really psyched about getting a GREAT graduation speaker more than anything else for this election. So remember to vote and drop me an email if you have any more questions! narodick@stanford.edu

Nada

Hi everyone!!

I am Nada, your typical Lebanese girl that grew up in Dubai, UAE... My friends make fun of me for always inviting people as soon as I meet them to come and visit me there :)

I love to travel. With Stanford, I went to Tanzania on an Overseas Seminar last summer, and spent fall quarter in Australia (which was amazing). Other than that, I just got back from Cuba, which was a really sweet experience!

In a nutshell... I am a Human Biology major, a French tutor for the Stanford department, a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and a bunch of international/Arab associations... I love languages and grew up learning 5... which makes me speak with an uncharacteristic accent...

I am super excited about working with my slate, throughout the campaign, and hopefully, next year as well to make Senior year memorable.

Natasha

Who are we really?

Well, I am a Polisci major with a Russian minor(possibly Econ minor as well) who spent fall quarter in Russia perfecting my "metro feis" and learning to drink like a Russian and deal with bureaucracy - by the way, in Russia, you shouldn't think of it as a "bribe" per se, more like a "facilitation fee." More important information necessary? Well, I like 80s music(especially cliche, I LOVE Journey) and singing along to my ipod; I trip often, laugh too loud and am absurdly attached to midnight chats in the Durand kitchen.

That aside, I'm a straight-talking East Coaster who ran a tax exempt medical equipment nonprofit in high school and has delved deep into the Stanford Political scene. I think that we can do a lot more both in the Stanford community - powderpuff? senior fountain hopping? - and for the outside world and would like to make our senior year one in which everyone is involved. I love lists and color-coding, have an affinity for dealing with administrative obstacles and am not afraid to confront adults, when I think their position is untenable. Now, I understand that the administration is cracking down on unsafe behavior, but our freedom to have a fabulous and fun senior year is one right that I am not willing to compromise ... and that I promise you.

ps. my cellphone number is 617-549-2908 ... call for a good time ... awkward(did I mention I love that word?) and my email address is natasha7@stanford.edu

Putting the Tan back in Stanford

Hey everyone!

So election week is coming soon and we wanted to get a chance to tell you all a little more about ourselves outside of the pitch-perfect soundbyte hype that surrounds all the campaigning going on.

In a sentence, we want what you want, the most fantastic senior year EVER ... and we believe that we are the most qualified to make this happen.

Whether it be planning more and better Senior Pub Nights or even Crawls(yes "Pub" Nanci Howe), or ressurecting the high school favorite of Powderpuff football against those uppity juniors! We want to shake it up a bit and take our responsibilities in a new direction, encompassing not only a more diverse social scene - with laser tag and bowling ... maybe even a roller derby... to add to our traditional pub nights and formals - but also more community service and campus involvement.

More importantly, however, we want to know what YOU want. If we win, our job will be to please you, so tell us...What do YOU want from Senior year? We'll do our best to deliver.

Oh and ... we're working on a speaker... yes, now.
